The Art Couture Project is an exclusive limited-edition high fashion calendar undertaken by designer swimwear label Aqua Di Lara, to recognize established and up-and coming talented Canadian photographers and to showcase their skills in the world of fashion marketing.
Fashion photographers were provided a swimsuit from Aqua Di Lara's S/S 2009 collection and were given creative carte-blanche to form their own team and to produce an image that captured their unique style. The submitted images were reviewed, vetted and selected for publication by a panel of judges and even though the selection was difficult, 12 images were selected and captured to showcase in the exclusive calendar the great talent that Canada has to offer.
The Art Couture Project was showcased at an exclusive event in Montreal - where all works were exibited for the industry to view and bid upon, with proceeds going to charity.
